Led by Peter MacDonald, a Chartered Engineer with the IMechE, we offer bespoke, flexible, and targeted project management services to clients both locally and around the globe.
How we got here
The engineering journey
Since our inception in 2017, we have been committed to providing short-term, part-time, and ad-hoc engineering project management solutions. Our unique approach allows us to work on several concurrent projects, delivering targeted and specific support exactly when our clients need it. This model has proven successful across a range of exciting projects, from delay analysis for insurance claims to project managing marine operations and conducting feasibility studies for hydropower schemes.

About MacDonald Project Solutions
Our expertise is rooted in the green and sustainable sector, with a portfolio that includes marine energy development, new technology installation, commissioning support on a CHP biomass build, and forensic review of delayed EPC projects. We also offer business development support, attending industry events and workshops to foster long-term relationships with our clients.
About Peter MacDonald
Peter MacDonald brings to the table approximately 15 years of post-university experience in an engineering projects environment. His experience spans across various industries, including rotating equipment, subsea oil & gas, marine renewables, shore-based pipeline handling equipment, industrial process refits, innovation/R&D, and hydropower. Peter's strength lies in his ability to form positive relationships quickly with customers, contractors, and suppliers across a wide range of cultural backgrounds. He is equally comfortable in live site/workshop environments, boardroom settings, and most places in between.
